The Ferdiad Cycle
Domains: glory, sun, charm, repose
Iodocus is the sun god – bringer of warmth and life. A young handsome man with golden hair sitting at the gates of Tír na-Slinn, he is responsible for chasing the night away each dawn and guiding the spirits of the dead to their rightful places. He is the god of light, truth and the arts. His essence is bravery.
Priests dedicated to Iodocus are well versed in both singing and playing the harp, his favoured instrument. They hold a mass each morning, welcoming the sun along the dawn.
