Osrics populate the Narasgaen Peninsula in the southmost tip of of Drystan. As a nation of merchants they are called many things: peddler-folk, backstabbers, snakes of the south. Indeed, the Osrics have always preferred devious politics and shady diplomacy to open warfare. Countless trade agreements, alliances and assassinations have kept them relatively safe through the centuries.

Osric is ruled by the merchant princes, a class which anyone with enough money can join. Their fleet is next to no-one and their trade vessels are a common sight in ports near and far. While the many rumours about them selling their babies for the right amount is often based on the envy of their fabulous wealth, the Osrics are a calculating and pragmatic people that measure your life as a commodity.
