Vangetorix

“Follow me my brothers for I have foreseen the way and the light that awaits every man both high and long trodden! "
-Vangetorix

Vangetorix (c.849-930) was the founder of both Hrodland and the Revisionist Corwynt called the Allfather in Hrodland and regarded as an insurgent in Aenoria. He was considered a prophet already before the fall of the Ellysians by the tribes of the Hrods and played a large part in the insurgency of the Cerns. He challenged the rulership of Drustan magh Aenor which led to bloodshed at the sacred standing stone of Gwynnaghl which led to the final separation of the Hrods and Cerns in a bloody civil war.

After losing to the allied forces under Drustan, Vangetorix led his people south to claim the lands of the undefended Ellysians and build the foundations of Hrodland in the ensuing decades. He was also responsible for creating the ruling structures of the Revisionist Corwynt temples and most of their principles. Today he is regarded as a saint and saviour of his people by the devout Hrods.
